Huxley-Parlour is delighted to announce Colombian artist, Lorena Torres’ second solo exhibition with the gallery, Un Suspiro Lleno el Mundo . Presenting a suite of sixteen new paintings, many of which were made during the artist’s residency at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation in Senegal, the exhibition continues Torres’ exploration of magical realism, figure, symbolism and folk cultures. Lorena Torres’ practice is deeply rooted in her upbringing on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
