“Backyard”, an upcoming solo exhibition by Amitesh Shrivastava, will feature a new series of paintings that draw together memory, landscape, and sensory experience. Rooted in Shrivastava’s recollections of the forested environment of his childhood in Chhattisgarh and his present life in Mumbai, the works move between observation, memory, and fiction.
