Nazarian / Curcio is pleased to present Who Needs Muscles If Nothing Is Heavy? , the gallery’s fourth solo exhibition by New York-based artist Bridget Mullen. On view from September 12 through October 24, 2026, the exhibition will open with a reception on Saturday, September 12 from 6–8 PM. When considering the nature of consciousness, the French philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty argued that the qualities of the world are inseparable from the bodies through which we experience them.
