"These paintings are a celebration of the diversity and beauty of South Africa, and of the deep appreciation I have come to feel for living in this place on the southern tip of Africa. At a time when so much of the world can feel increasingly complicated and uncertain, I have found myself looking more closely at what is immediately around me: the dramatic bush summer skies, the incredible light of the Karoo, and the beaches and sunsets of the Cape.
