The Office of Inter-American Affairs Presents is Ana Segovia’s first solo exhibition at kurimanzutto New York. Bringing together a new body of work alongside archival film, sound, and video, the exhibition takes the gaucho—one of the Southern Cone’s most enduring cultural archetypes—as its point of departure for examining how national and gender identities are constructed through visual culture and collective imaginaries.
