STEVENSON is pleased to present 'This plate is what I have to say' , an exhibition by artist-potter Hylton Nel, developed from his 2023 survey of the same title at Charleston, the Sussex house museum dedicated to the Bloomsbury Group. Now in his 85 th year, Nel has worked on plates since his early days. In his own words: Most of what I make are plates. The same shape over and over, but like people each one is different.
