Uncovered in Scotland in 2014, the Galloway Hoard is one one of the most significant Viking-age archaeological sites ever found in the United Kingdom. The collection includes around 100 objects, including silver and gold jewelry, religious items, currency and textiles, and was buried under mysterious circumstances around the year 900 CE.
