The Urban Intervals series emerged in the wake of the pandemic, as I walked through New York and observed people returning to public life, moving through the city for work and pleasure, rediscovering its rhythms, and reengaging with shared spaces. I am drawn to the ways people inhabit urban environments, and to the visual language created by pattern, light, texture, and shadow. The built landscape both shelters and shapes us.
