Alpine Daydreams is a collection of mixed-media works examining the perception, fluctuation, and vulnerability of landscape. Through layered surfaces and graceful schemes, Ben Mickelson’s work compresses lived experience into fragments of terrain. The paintings are less depictions of place than records of how landscape is remembered and reassembled over time.
