The Hole is proud to present the second solo exhibition by New Mexico-based artist Peter Opheim . Cocoon , his debut show in 2024 was filled with luminous, sunny oil paintings in a million shades of yellow, tiny clay sculptures and woven wall hangings. His second show with us is Cave , a dark and stormy antithesis to the sunlight and warmth, the new paintings rendered in colorful and ever-deepinging blacks, the figures mysterious bordering on threatening.
