Trương Công Tùng grew up in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, a region transformed by colonialism, war, migration, and the spread of industrial agriculture. Working across painting, video, installation, and found and organic materials, he considers how these histories become embedded in the land and in the ways we understand it. Plants become witnesses, objects carry stories, and science and cosmology offer different ways of knowing the same terrain.
