Winston Wächter Fine Art is pleased to present The Long Light , a new series of paintings by Eric Uhlir. In his second solo show with the gallery, Uhlir turns the lens onto himself, utilizing paint to create a body of work inspired by the effect that time has on places and the people who loved within them. Uhlir’s compositions are created through layered mark-making of oil on linen, built up with brushes and then cut back with scrapers and solvents.
