Yukon Arts Centre Main Gallery This exhibition by Whitehorse based Ava P Christl comprises works from the Yukon, Iceland and Svalbard (Norway), made over the last five years. It is her way of offering a deep bow to the forests that sustain us – the living systems that are relational to each other and to us. The vast circumpolar Boreal forests are the breathing lungs of the earth, storing carbon and fresh water, providing habitat for millions of animals and humans.
