Home is wherever you are marks Rekha Rodwittiya’s 18th solo exhibition with Sakshi Gallery. The exhibition brings together paintings, embroidery, carpets, photography and watercolours, reflecting the artist’s ongoing engagement with memory, lived experience, history and the narratives of women. Central to Rodwittiya’s practice is a continuing examination of women’s lives and experiences within broader structures of geography, politics, gender and social hierarchy.
