Patrick Gehue, affectionately known as “Patty-Boy”, was a proud member of the Sipekne’katik First Nation (Mi’kma’ki). He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was an RCMP officer, a hockey coach, an athlete, and an artist. He was also deeply passionate about Indigenous culture and history. In September 2024, high school students at Smallwood Academy began a project honouring his life and memory.
