Celebrate four decades of the Ikenobo Ikebana Society New York City Chapter with a special exhibition in The Noguchi Museum’s Education Studio (Level C). Visitors are invited to experience flowers as sculptural expressions of time, place, and attentive seeing. Founded more than 550 years ago in Kyoto, Ikenobo is the oldest and most enduring school of ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
