N.C. Wyeth's youngest child, Andrew Wyeth (1917–2009), continued in his father's footsteps and became one of the most prominent American artists of the 20th century. Renowned for his detailed landscapes and intimate portraits, Andrew Wyeth was dedicated almost exclusively to portraying the rural people, land, and interiors of his two home bases: Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and Cushing, Maine.
