This exhibition is held in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. Grounded in the museum’s guiding mission — “to provide a place for creation and coexistence where individuals reflect on themselves and deepen their connections with the world”—it takes “dialogue with the world” as its central theme. To “read” is an active process: a movement toward the unknown and a deepening of perception.
